George Nelson Brown

Graveside services for George Nelson Brown, 98 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Tennessee St. Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate. Mr. Brown passed away March 11, 2020 at Archbold Hospital. Born April 24, 1921 in Summerfield, NB, Canada, he was the son of the late Edward Brown and Ruby Antworth Brown. On November 1, 1939 in Bath, NB, Canada he married Lena Frances Brown, who preceded him in death. He was a farmer. He is survived by children, Robert & Sharon Calberg Brown of Easthampton, Mass., Charlene Gaskins of Douglas, GA., Barbara & Ed Marshall of Boston; sister, Annie Brown Green; grandchildren, Michael Brown, Matthew Brown (Christel), Christopher Ferris (Amy), Amanda Lavery (Matt), Jonathan Marshall (Lina); numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
