George Herbert Rennard

Services for George Herbert Rennard, 79, of Thomasville are at 3:00PM on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Dawson Street Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Rennard died Jan. 7, 2012 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born May 4, 1932 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Ralph Lacy and Ruth Tellefson Rennard. On February 17, 1956 at Dawson Street Baptist Church in Thomasville he married Autrey Holland Rennard who survives. He served in the United States Navy for 4 years during the Korean War. Mr. Rennard worked for Southern Bell and AT&T for over 30 years. He was a member of the Thomasville Kiwanis Club and Telephone Pioneers. Other survivors include son George Herbert Rennard, Jr. of Hardeeville, SC, daughter and son-in-law, Mona and Ron Wilkerson of Pavo, GA, daughter, Karen R. Jenkins of Rincon, GA, sisters, Muriel R. Kerr of Barryville, NY and Lillian Evenson of Centennial, CO, brother Ralph Rennard of Mohnton, PA, grandchildren, Brandi Culp, Kristie Wooten Chad, Marissa Wilkerson, Matt Wilkerson Sarah, Clint Wilkerson Tara, Natalie Morris Matt, Bryan Jenkins, Jr., George Walker Jenkins, great grandchildren, Mary Beth Wooten, Noah Wooten, Ethan Wilkerson and Brynnan Wilkerson.
