George Henry Jaspert Iii

George Henry Jaspert III of Thomasville, Georgia, died on September 28, 2018 after a long battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. He was 81 years old. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 24, 1936, he grew up in Andover, Massachusetts, graduated from Belmont Hill School in 1955 and Duke University in 1959. George lived many years in south Florida, first in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and later in Delray Beach. He was General Sales Manager for WEAT AM/FM radio station in West Palm Beach prior to his retirement in 2000. He was active in the Antique Car Club of Palm Beach County and served as a past president. George had an outstanding collection of cars throughout the years. They were his passion and his hobby. He leaves his wife, Hannah Jean, three children Christina Kennedy of Grandbury, TX, George Jaspert IV of Oceanside, CA and John Jaspert of Delray Beach, FL. He had seven grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Jaspert will be held at 11 AM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at All Saints Episcopal Church and interment will follow in the church memory garden. A reception will follow at the church.
