Graveside services for George Clinton Burnette, 33, of Thomasville are 10:00 am Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Big Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Mitchell Clements and Rev. James Armstrong will officiate. Mr. Burnette died May 20, 2007 at his residence. Born November 24, 1973 in Thomasville. He was a carpenter for Reneau Construction and enjoyed playing guitar, writing, acting, fishing and hunting. He is survived by mother and step father, Joyce & Dan Blackwell, of Thomasville, father & step mother, Mark & Sherry Burnette, of Meigs, sons, Zachary & Brian Burnette, of Mich, sisters, Donna Mies, of VA., Dana Godwin, of Thomasville, grandparents, Jessie Benton, Clinton & Nell Burnette, all of Coolidge, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
