Georgia Beatrice Griffin

Services for Georgia Beatrice Griffin, 90, of Ochlocknee, GA will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Gene Brock will officiate and interment will be at Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Ms. Griffin died February 28, 2014 at her residence. Born July 31, 1923, she was the daughter of the late William Greenbery and Annie Lucile Walton Griffin. Ms. Griffin was a retired teacher with the Thomas County School System. Survivors include niece, Beth Broeker and nephew Berry Griffin both of Arkansas, nephew, Herman Griffin of Ochlocknee and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Thomas Griffin and a sister, Jewell Griffin Wilkerson. Memorial donations may be made to the Griffin scholarship Foundation or Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church, P.O. Box 675, Ochlocknee, Ga 31773.
