Gerald Ray Dunham

Services for Gerald Ray Dunham, 65, of Thomasville, will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 3:00PM at Midway Baptist Church. Revered Nathan Fowler will officiate and interment will be at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Dunham passed away peacefully at his home on June 08, 2012. Born January 01, 1947, in Stockton, California, he was the son of the late William Henry Dunham and Edna Rogers Dunham. Mr. Dunham was a veteran of the United States Army, and he owned Dunham Body Shop in Thomasville, Ga. Mr. Dunham was a member of Midway Baptist Church, the Exchange Club, American Legion Post 265, and was awarded the Purple Heart for serving in Vietnam. Survivors include sons Kevin Dunham of Alabama, Robert Keith Dunham and wife Barbara of Florida; daughter Amanda Rae Dunham of Thomasville; Grandchildren Nikkie Dorrill, Johnathan Dorrill, Tyler Dunham, Caleb Dunham, Madison Dunham, Cooper Dunham, Aubrey Bufford, Macy Ellis, Parker Ellis, Taylor Watkins, Tori Watkins; brothers Bill Dunham and wife Dorothy of Arkansas, Sherril Dunham and wife Mary of Thomasville; sisters Beatrice Cortapassi of Oregon and Wanda Smith of California, special friend Elizabeth Clanton and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Dunham was preceded in death by brother Jack Dunham. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10, 2012, 3:00PM-6:00PM at the funeral home.
