Geraldine S. Creech

Funeral services for Geraldine S. Creech, 86, of Thomasville will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 3:00 PM at East Side Baptist Church, where she was a member. Rev. Tim Robson will officiate and internment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Creech died on May 10, 2008 in Thomasville. Born in Grady Co, on December 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Alvis and Alma Smith Spence. On March 11, 1944, she was married to the late Joe Bennie Creech. Mrs. Creech was retired from Southwestern State Hospital, where she worked as a nurse. Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Wanda and Edward Crew of Cairo; grandchildren, Amanda and Jim McRae and Wendy and Chris Beatty; and great grandchildren, Kyle Riley, Kortney Riley and Daylee Beatty. Also surviving are sisters and brothers in law, Jackie and Jimmy Maxwell of Reno, GA and Betty and Ron Cole of Meigs, GA. She was preceded in death by a son Myron Dennis Creech and 2 sisters, Eunice Wilson and Elene Creech. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Monday night at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
