Gladys Hogan Golden

Services for Gladys Mae Hogan Golden of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 7, 2003 at Dawson Street Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Lee Waller and The Rev. Marlen Lastinger will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Golden died December 4, 2003 at Brynwood Center in Monticello, Fl. Born December 23, 1932 in Thomas Co., Ga., she was the daughter of the late Theo Hogan and Agnes Ayers Hogan Davis. On February 11, 1951 in Thomasville she married Isler Durell Golden who survives. Mrs. Golden was a homemaker. Other survivors include a son Rodney Durell Golden of Crawfordville, Fl., daughter, Margaret Golden Stone, son, Richard Keith Golden both of Thomasville; sister Gwen Sloan of N. Augusta, S.C.; grandchildren, Richard Stone, Michael Stone, Kaitlyn Stone and Rodney Golden. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Diana Golden, grandson, Ryan Golden and sister, Myra Bush. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8PM on Saturday.
