Gladys Cornelia Redding Griffin
Services for Gladys Cornelia Redding Griffin, 87, of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Allen and Allen Funeral Chapel, with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Griffin died October 31 in Bainbridge. Born May 22, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John Carroll and Pollie Mae Plymel Redding. On June 3, 1942, in Thomasville, she married David Howard Griffin who preceded her in death. She was a seamstress for Warners and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Quinlan H. and Cheryl Griffin of Carrabelle, Fla.; daughter, Marceille Griffin of Peachtree City; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Tom Donalson of Marietta; grandchildren, Stacey Wheeler and husband, Todd, Lana Orth and husband, Ron, Amanda Griffin, Tiffany Griffin, Melissa Woods and husband, Hill, Hayden Donalson, Thomas Donalson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Wheeler and Gavin Wheeler; sister, Myrtice Groves of Bainbridge.
