Glen Arnold Morgan, 78, of Jesup, Georgia passed away March 2, 2020, at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital in Savannah. He was born in Leon County, Florida and lived in Thomas County, Georgia until joining the Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant, serving in Vietnam and retiring after 24 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sharon Morgan; sons and daughters in love– Reverend Alan and April Morgan and Matthew and Lee Anne Morgan; grandchildren- Zach, Elizabeth, Hannah, Finn, and Mabry; sister-in-law Kaye Morgan; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by daughter Angela; parents – Johnny and Lenora (Shirah) Morgan; sisters – Margaret (Frank Powell), Floye (Elbert Jordan), and Lorene Williamson; brothers – W.A. (Bobbie) and Ronnie. He was an active member of Red Hill Baptist Church in Jesup, GA and served as a deacon in several other churches. Visitation is Friday, March 6, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Bill Blanchard and Reverend Michael Bass officiating and Reverend Kenny Sexton leading music. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Thomasville with full military honors.
