Glenda Brown Avera

A memorial service for Glenda Brown Avera, 59, of Thomasville will be held 4:00 PM Friday, February 17, 2012 at Glad Tidings Assembly Church where she was a member. Pastor Brent Welch will officiate. Ms. Avera passed away February 14, 2012 at her residence. Born November 2, 1952 in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Glenn J. Brown and Lillian Martin Brown. She enjoyed needlepoint, cooking, NASCAR, being a grandmother and her church. Survivors include a son and daughter in law Jason Glen and Melissa Avera of Thomasville, daughter Amanda Lynn Avera of Thomasville and a sister, Sharon Brown Armstrong of Macon. Also surviving are grandchildren, Brittany Ciera Hopkins, Breanna Marie Avera and Joshua Glen Avera. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glad Tiding Assembly Church, P.O.
