Graveside services for Glenda Brown Scheese, 71 of Monticello, Fl will be held at2:00 PM, Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Andy Creel will officiate. Mrs. Scheese passed away May 4, 2015 at her residence. Born July 30, 1943 in Cleveland, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Forrest Brown and Mildred Montgomery Lewis Brown. She was a secretary for The Apalachee Center in Tallahassee. She is survived by her son, Jason Scheese; stepson, Martin Scheese and wife Charlotte, all of Monticello; sister, Mauna Brown Powers and husband Joe of Snellville; Nephew, Samuel Powers of Athens; niece, Susan Powers Flores of Winterville; grandnephew, Conner Flores and grandniece, Madelyn Flores and step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Scheese. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday, May 6, 2014 at the funeral home.
