Services for Glenda “Mrs. C” Stringer, 70, of Ochlocknee will be at 2:00PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Pastor Chris Folds will officiate and interment will be at Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Pallbearers are Donnie Poitevint, David Phillps, BJ Phillips, Russell Phillips, Kyle Phillips and Chris Harnevious. Mrs. Stringer died February 10, 2018 at her residence. Born August 08, 1947 in Donaldsonville, Georgia she was the daughter of the late Cecil Phillips and Loretta Perry Benton. She loved bowling, fishing, karaoke and spending time with family. Survivors include husband William Stringer; daughter Sheila Weeks DeLoach; grandchildren, Jamie Geuss, Destiny Bostic, Michael Bostic, Megan DeLoach and Morgan DeLoach; 5 great grandchildre; brothers, Lewis Poitevint (Glenda) of Cairo, Eddie Joe Phillips (Benita) of Thomasville; sisters, Shirley Carver Law of Thomasville, Janice Becknell (Brad) Of Ocoee, FL and Cherie Smithwick (Buddy) of Pelham; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Phillips and sister Ollie McCarson. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 110A Mimosa Street, Thomasville, GA 31792.
