Born April 26, 1947 in Pavo, GA he was the son of Ottis Touchton and Novella Griffin Pyles . He was a painter by trade. Survivors include a son Robert S. Shipes of Orlando, FL, father, Ottis G. Touchton of Tallahassee, mother, Novella Pyles Griffin of Silver City, NM, one grandchild, sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy & Leo Hannaford of Thomasville, Sheila and Tommy Summerall of Camilla, GA, sister, Diane Touchton of Hoffman Estates, IL, brother & sister-in-law Gerry and Alice Touchton of Crawfordville, FL, brother, Russell Touchton of FL, sister, Pamela Touchton of Tallahassee and several nieces and nephews.
