Services for Grace Ophelia West of Coolidge are at 2:00PM on Friday, September 24, 2004 at Coolidge Church of God where she was a member. The Rev. Clay Cantrell and the Rev. Curt McCollough will officiate and interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Grandsons are pallbearers. Mrs. West died September 21, 2004 at Sunrise Nursing Home. Born August 29, 1921 in Cook Co., GA. she was the daughter of the late John and Effie Webb Glover. She was married to J. L. West who survives. Mrs. West was a homemaker. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James Aaron and Dorothy West of Coolidge, daughter and son-in-law, Linda Jean and James Loyd of Ochlocknee, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Donnie M. and Marcia West, daughter, Judy West, son and daughter-in-law, J. L. Jim, Jr. and Betty West all of Coolidge, seventeen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren, sisters, Toy Griffin of Nashville, GA and Connie Mulvania of Stevenson, Washington. A sister, Mary Bryant and brothers, Emanuel Glover and Gordon Glover, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel from 7-9PM on Thursday.
