Hal Meeks

Hal Craig Meeks, age 68, will be remembered with love following his passing on December 4, 2025, in Boston, Georgia. Hal was born on August 10, 1957, in Belle Glade, Florida, to his loving parents, Cecil and Becky Meeks.

A dedicated and active member of his community, Hal was a lifetime member of the American Legion, Post 20, where he proudly served as Post Commander in Belle Glade. He was known for his exceptional talent as a BBQ master, delighting family and friends with his grilling skills. Hal had a love for the outdoors, which was exemplified by his passion for hunting and fishing. Additionally, he served as a volunteer firefighter for 19 years and was an auxiliary member of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department. Known affectionately as "Pop" to his grandchildren, Hal cherished spending quality time with his loved ones.

Hal is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Meeks, his children Justin Meeks of Boston and Haley Blalock (Jason) of Thomasville, and his beloved grandchildren, Georgiana Bass, Maisie Meeks, and Kinlee, Preslee, and Brody Blalock. Hal is also survived by his siblings: James Meeks (Juanita) of Wellington, Florida, and Barbara Ward (Dewight) of Troy, Alabama, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other close family members.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Allen and Allen Funeral Home, with Reverend Jason Bennett officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Hal's life and legacy.
