Halcie Dekle

Funeral services for Halcie Murchison Dekle,96, of Thomasville, will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Entombment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Dekle was born on August 19, 1929, to the late Vivian & Esther Gandy Murchison. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Olen Dekle. They were the former owners of Dekle Funeral Chapel in Thomasville. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Anne and Debra Wright. She is survived by two nieces Gail (David) Chason of Cairo and Linda (Dennis) Compton of Marietta, Ga; two great nieces, Dana Chason (Justin)Griffin of Quitman and Stacy Compton (Kevin) McKinley of Woodstock, GA; great nephew Devin McGlamery (Karen) of Gallatin, TN; three great-great nieces, Evan Griffin, Ayse Wegrzyn, and Karlyn McGlamery and two great-great nephews Oliver Griffin and Preston McGlamery. Mrs. Dekle was also preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Barton, Hilda Terell, Hazel McGlamery and a brother Hoyt Murchison.
