Services for Hanna E. Schmidt Garces, 90, of Thomasville are at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2007, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Lee Waller officiating. Interment will be in Southern Memorial Park, Miami Fla. Mrs. Garces died March 1, 2007 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born April 28, 1916, in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Emma Schmidt. She was married to Alexander R. Garces, who preceded her in death. Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Betty Garces; grandchildren, Denise Pineiro, Robin Reid and Michele Killeen; brother-in-law, Octavio Garces.
