Graveside services for Harlowe Nell White of Thomasville are at 9:00AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Pine Park Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. George Ehling will officiate. Mrs. White died August 22, at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Valdosta. Born February 20, 1922 in Grady Co., GA she was the daughter of the late Charles Edgar Stringer, Sr. and Ora Belle Bryant Stringer. Mrs. White was a member of First Baptist Church. She worked for Southern Bell during World War II in communications and liked gardening, fishing and was a homemaker. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy H. White, Sr. and Teri Hurst White of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Susan White Futch and Thomas Allen Futch, III of Valdosta, daughter-in-law, Kelly Harvey White of Thomasville; grandchildren Jennifer White Ehling and husband, George Ehling, Timothy H. White, II, Rachel White Hanson and husband, Jonathan Hanson, Dorothy Futch, John Jay F. White, III, Mary Beth White; great grandchildren, Matthew Ehling, Nathan Ehling, Mickey Hanson and sister, Frances Stringer Lear of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by a son, John F. White, Jr, sister, Elizabeth Stringer and brother, Edgar Stringer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8PM on Tuesday.
