Funeral services for Harold Alan ?Burt? Lancaster, 50, of Meigs are 11:00 am, Friday, August 24, 2007 at The Church at Pleasant Grove, where he was a member, with the Rev. Mike Nichols officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mr. Lancaster died August 22, 2007 at his residence. Born July 30, 1957 in Thomas Co, he was the son of the late Harold Andrew Lancaster and Virginia Mitchell Lancaster of Gautier, MS, who survives. On February 25, 2006 in Grady Co, he married Janet Foster, who survives. He was a registered respiratory therapist and a member of North Florida Tres Dias. Other survivors include daughter Erin Lancaster, of Donalsonville, GA; son Jason Lancaster and Katy Carpenter Lancaster, of Tallahassee, sons, Daniel Lancaster, and Lee Johnson, both of Cairo, brother & sister-in-law, Stephen & Christie Lancaster, of Crawfordville, Fl, sisters & brothers ?in-law, Jeannie & Carl Young, and Ellen & Don McNabb, both of Gautier, MS, mother-in-law, Emily Foster, of Meigs, brother ?in-law & sister-in-law, Craig & Denise Foster, of Macon, GA, and grandson, Nathan Lee Johnson. Memorials may be made to The Church at Pleasant Grove Building Fund, 253 Pleasant Grove Rd, Cairo, GA, 39827. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
