Mr. McDonald died November 3, 2006 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born March 8, 1935 in Dollville, Ill. he was the son of the late Leverette Elsworth McDonald and Dortha Sherwood McDonald. On October 11, 2002 in Thomasville he married Beverly Matthews McDonald who survives. He was retired from Matthews Farms and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. McDonald was a member of the National Farmers Association. He went to a ministerial college in Hannabel, MO and was a Baptist pastor in Illinois. He enjoyed singing gospel music. Other survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Eugene and Cindy McDonald of Boston, GA, daughter, Kandice Ann McDonald of California, son, Kent Thomas McDonald of Albuquerque, NM, grandson, Kevin Christopher McDonald, brother, Loel McDonald of Plant City, FL, sisters, Juanita Gerhold of Shelbyville, Ill., Rosemary Ruot of Towerhill, Ill. and the mother of his children, Janet McDonald of Albuquerque, NM.
