Harriett Beckham Lister

Graveside services for Harriett Beckham Lister, 72 of Thomasville will be held 10 am, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Dr. Hugh Davis will officiate. Mrs. Lister passed away May 19, 2012 in Lake Park. Born October 28, 1939 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of Alvin C. Marchant who survives and the late Hazel Marchant. She was married to Harvie Lister who preceded her in death. Mrs. Lister was a member of First United Methodist Church and was affectionately known as the "Avon Lady". She is survived by her children, Brenda Knight and husband Mark of Lake Park, Sandra Arnau of Thomasville, Pam Lister of Thomasville; grandchildren, David Hill, Byron Arnau and Samantha Duncan; great-grandchildren, Cameron Parker, Blake Arnau, Ava Hill and Asher Hill. She was preceded in death by brother, Michael T. Beckham. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
