Harrison Bardin Hooks

Services for Harrison Bardin Hooks, 8, will be on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Thomasville sanctuary. Rev. Marty Carnes will officiate the service. He was the son of William and Deren Hooks. Harrison attended Jerger Elementary school, and he went to First Baptist Church. Harrison had a passion for sports, he loved playing soccer, football, basketball, riding his bike, swimming, and playing tennis. Harrison loved watching The Georgia Bulldogs play football, and he had a fondness for anything red and black. Harrison loved life, school, his friends, and he loved Jesus. Harrison was a tremendous sibling to his brother and sister, and they were his number one fan. Survivors include his parents, William and Deren Hooks, brother, Brayton Tucker Hooks, sister, Adeline Charlotte Hooks, Grandmother, Beverly Singletary Harrison of Thomasville; grandparents, Bobby and Harriett Hooks of Macon, GA; aunts and uncles, Jim and Helen Shoptaw of Hazard, Kentucky, Kevin and Martha Ann Chilvers of Newnan, GA; cousins, James Shoptaw, Robert Shoptaw, Samuel Shoptaw, William Shoptaw, Keegan Chilvers, Thomas Chilvers, Barrett Chilvers, great-grandmother, Suzanne Singletary. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Helen Curtis Singletary; great-grandfather, Robert P. Singletary; great-grandparents Ed and Inez Hutchings, Bobby and Elizabeth Hooks, great-aunts, Shirley S. Carr, Elaine Riggs, and Ann Surber.
