Graveside services for Harvie Edward Lister of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Dr. Hugh Davis will officiate. Mr. Lister died April 30, 2005 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born August 20, 1933 in Hendersonville, NC, he was the son of the late Lucille McAbee Lister. On May 14, 1956 he married Harriett LaRue Beckham Lister who survives. Mr. Lister was retired from the City of Thomasville as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Mark Knight of Lake Park, GA, daughters, Sandra Arnau, Pamela Lister both of Thomasville; sisters, Mildred Harrison, Marge Revis, Katherine Duncan, Sarah Ellis; brother, Bud Lister all of North Carolina; grandchildren, David A. and Jennifer Hill, Byron Arnau and Samantha Duncan and great grandchild, Cameron Parker.
