Graveside service for Hazel Perkins, age 76, will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11am at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Hazel passed away on April 13, 2021, in Athens, GA. She was born on September 8, 1944, in Miami to the late Fred and Hazel Adams. She was a graduate of Southwest Miami High School. Hazel was married to Robert J. Perkins Sr. who preceded her in death on March 20, 2019. She was an assistant for 30 years for her husband's firm Robert J. Perkins CPA. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Thomasville. Hazel loved animals and enjoyed reading, camping, water skiing and cross-stitching. She is survived by her children Deborah Perkins Nelson (Walter) of Mobile, AL, Robert Jones Perkins, Jr. (Teresa) of Salisbury, MD, John Michael Perkins (Lisa) of Irvine, CA, Brian Thomas Perkins (Nancy) of Bogart, GA; brother Fred Adams of Altamonte Springs, FL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
