Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Cone will be Saturday, August 31, 2002 at the Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel at 3:30PM. The Rev. Phillip Hudson will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Cone died Thursday, August 29, 2002 at Plantation Manor. She was born Febuary 6, 1916 in Doerun Georgia. Mrs Cone was the daughter of the late William A. Rushin and Ruby Fain Rushin. She was preceded in death by her husband A.J. Cone. Living relatives include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and John Yerkes of Havana Fla; a daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Benny Nichols of Boston and one sister, Bernice Cone of Boston; Grandchildren, Pam Adams, Bobbi Martin, Cindy Fender, Lori Yerkes, and Maryanne Yerkes and 6 great grandchildren, Matthew Green, Jessica Green, Joshua Steed, Austin Fender, Ben Martin and Andrew Fender. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00PM Friday at the funeral home.
