Hazel Hart Wilkes

Services for Hazel Hart Wilkes, 91 of Thomasville GA, will be held Saturday, December 19th at 11 AM at Rose City Church of God with Reverend Gerald Horne and Reverend Tyler Carter officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wilkes passed away on December 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 31, 1929, in Calvary to the late Bonnie Hart and to the late Eula Carter Cox. She was married to the late Olith Doyle Wilkes. She was a member of the Rose City Church of God. Survivors include her children, Gail Bennett (Horace) of Stockton GA, Lynn Bennett (Kenny) of Stockton GA, Wayne Wilkes (Eva) of Lake City FL, and Shane Wilkes (Melanie) of Valdosta GA; her grandchildren, Chris Bennett, Jason Bennett, Tammy Bennett, Melissa Anderson Smith, Randy Anderson, Kenny Wayne Bennett, Wesley Wilkes, Cindy Priest, Alicia Wilkes, Sheila Stephens, Ken Cox, April Wilkes, Junior Wilkes, Lana Ibrahim, Shelly Wilkes, Andrea Wilkes, Doyle Wilkes, Shannon Hall, Darlene Wilkes, and Shane Wilkes, Sheldon Vickers; her numerous great-grandchildren; and her siblings Faye Barrineau of Thomasville GA, Pauline Barrineau of Whigham GA, and James Cox of Pine Park GA. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Anne Cox, her son Kenneth Wilkes, and her sister Judy Parker.
