Funeral and memorial services for Hedy Wilson of Boston, will be 6:00 PM, Monday, August 20, 2018 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will follow services. Father Godfred Boachie-Yiadom will officiate. Hedy passed away August 16, 2018 at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Born December 18, 1931 in Mahr Schonberg, Chech Republic, she was the daughter of the late Maximilian and Helene Bartik Goedel.
Hedy is survived by her husband, Roy Wilson; grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson and wife Jennifer, Jessica Edwards and husband Jeremy, and Tyler Wilson; great-grandchildren, Blake Yates, Ashton Myers, and Charli Edwards; Sisters, Margaret Goedel, Elizabeth Crum; Brother, Walter Goedel.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Wilson; sisters, Helen Schott, Hermine Gal, Bridgette Goedel, Analiese Goedel; brother, Maximilian Goedel; first husband, Jack Wilson. The family will receive friends folllowing services, Monday at the funeral home.
