Services for Helen Fallin Owens, 60, of Thomasville are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Antioch Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Jimmy Odum will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Owens died December 3 at her residence. Born February 18, 1948 in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late Ufa H. Fallin and Cora Lee Taylor Fallin. On September 2, 1966 at Antioch Baptist Church in Pavo, she married David C. Owens, who survives. She was a retired office manager for the Thomas County Department of Family and Children Services. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Mike Atkinson of Thomasville, Donna Owens of Tallahassee, Fl; grandchildren, Laura Atkinson and Stephen Atkinson; sisters & brothers, Mary Brinson of Thomasville, Hoyt Fallin of Orlando, Fl, Betty Duncan of Pavo, Bill Fallin of Pavo, JoAnn Demott of Thomasville, Faye Burgess of Pavo and Peggy Fallin of Thomasville.
