Services for Helen H. Lawler of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Barnett?s Creek Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate and interment will be in Barnett?s Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Lawler died July 30 at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home. Born April 22, 1911 in Columbus, GA she was the daughter of the late A. T. and Blanche Zachary Hart. She was married to Corbett Lawler who preceded her in death. Mrs. Lawler was a retired Nurses Aid from Southwestern State Hospital. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Corbett Max and Onita Lawler of Thomasville, Carey A. and Christine Lawler of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Steve and Mary Lawler, Beverly and Dewey Burnam, Connie Plymel, Larry Lawler, Kim and Bill Overton, Tim Carmley, Gary and Tammy Spikes, twenty one great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Carol Hammock; brothers, Vernon Hart, Hugh Hart, Harry Hart and sister, Mary Blanche Gouin. Memorials may be made to Barnett?s Creek Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Tuesday in the funeral chapel.
