Funeral services for Helen Prouse Sellers of Thomasville, GA will be held on Sunday, December 9th, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Waller officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends and family before the service from 1-2 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Mrs. Sellers passed away on December 7th, 2018 at her home in Thomasville. She was born on January 30th, 1931 in Savannah, GA. She was married to Louis Sellers. Mrs. Sellers was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years, sang in the choir, and worked in Wednesday night activities. She is survived by her husband, Louis Sellers; daughter, Denise S. Smith (Vann) of Thomasville, GA; grand-children, Natalie Marie Smith; sister, Blanche Meyers (Mike) of Savannah, GA; brother, Richard Prouse of Savannah, GA; special niece Caryl Tyler of Savannah, GA. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her 5 brothers and 2 sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Dawson Street Baptist Church Music Fund at 1025 N Dawson St, Thomasville, GA 31792.
