Helen Moody Stanton, 91, passed away on June 30, 2021 in Thomasville, GA. She is survived by her daughters Robin (Kendall) Noethe, Thomasville; Cynthia Williams, Mineral, VA; Karen Parker, Cleveland, TN; her daughter-in-law Iris Neil, Orlando, Fl. She is survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stanton, son James "Chip" Neil and granddaughter Jennifer Neil. Her parents were John Benjamin and Lois Standford Moody. Her siblings were J.B., Ashby and Eunice Moody. She was the last of the long-term Moody family of Williamsburg, VA and Tampa, Fl. She attended Plant High School in Tampa and Florida State University and was an avid Seminoles Football fan. She had an amazing sense of humor and was known for her adventurous spirit. She traveled widely both in the states and abroad. Some of her adventures included sky diving, Costa Rica zip lining, ballroom dancing, swimming with dolphins, parasailing, motorcycling and hot air ballooning. In her later years, she moved to Thomasville, GA where she was an active member of the Orchid Society, Shriners and the VFW.
