Services for Helen Sherman Tengler Nixon, 47, of Boston are 4 pm, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. Lonnie Robinson will officiate. Mrs. Nixon passed away September 22, 2011 at Archbold Hospital. Born December 10, 1963 in Spearfish, SD, she was the daughter of the late Robert Sherman and Regina Justice Sherman who survives. She is married to James Nixon, who survives. Mrs. Nixon was a homemaker and a member of Aucilla Missionary Baptist Church. Other survivors include children, James Sherman, Melissa Sherman both of Thomasville and Kurt Sherman; grandchildren, Aleah Sherman and Faith Sherman; sisters and brothers, Joanne Messerschmidt of Wendell, MN, David Sherman of Sturgis, SD; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Eckhart of Sturgis, SD, Kara Sneed of Thomasville and Roslyn Wells of Augusta; father-in-law, Kenneth Sneed, Sr and brother-in-law, Kenneth Sneed, Jr. She was preceded in death by brother, Robert Sherman and mother-in-law, Cora Sneed.
