Private services for Henry E. Gossett will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pastor Phillip Sadler will be officiating. Henry passed away on April 23, 2020 at his residence. He was born on July 31, 1934, in East Point, GA to the late James Henry Gossett and to the late Alverna McDearis Gossett. Henry worked at Middleton Plumbing and was a member of Valley Hill Baptist Church in Riverdale, GA. Survivors include his children, Robert Gossett of Griffin, GA, Bobbie Jean Gossett Thaxton of Rockmart, GA, and step-daughter Mary Katherine Tumlin (Jerry) of Clayton County, GA; several grandchildren; siblings Dot Sadler (Phillip) of Meigs, GA, Diane Coiner (Joey), Joyce Arrington (Robert) of Lula, GA, Annette Peavy (George) of Albany, GA, Patsy Braswell, Joan Rogers of Thomasville, GA, Randy Henson of New York City, NY. He was preceded in death by his siblings Clinton Gossett, Neal Gossett, Richard Gossett, Bobby Gossett, Margaret Gillard, Helen Fritz, and Wanda Keys.
