Services for Henry Milton Aycock, 82, of Coolidge, GA., will be Friday, November 1, 2002 at 3:00PM at Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Rev. Harold Pullen will officiate with interment in Big Ochlocknee Cemetery. Pallbearers are Larry West, Roger West, Douglas West, Sidney Hall, Jeff Smith, Tony Smith, Brent Smith and Charles Presley, Sr. Mr. Aycock passed away on October 29, 2002 at his home. Born November 22, 1919 in Coolidge, Ga, where he made his home, he was the son of the late Jack W. & Fannie Willis Aycock. He served in World War II from 1942 - 1946 as a First Sgt. Mr. Aycock received an Honorable Discharge with decorations. He received a Purple Heart, good conduct medal, American Theater SV Ribbon, Eamet SV Medal & World Warr II Victory Medal. He also served in the Armed Forces from 1949 - 1952 where he also received an Honorable Discharge. Mr. Aycock retired as a superintendent in Construction. He was a member of the Brickmason's Union and received his 50 year pin. He was of the Baptist Faith having done much work on Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church and Annex. Survivors include his wife, Mary Joesphine Clayton Aycock to which he was married 56 years, a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny & Ann Aycock, daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Ken Smith, 3 grandsons, 5 great grandchildren, sister, Nadine West, 13 neices & nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Clemantine Yandle. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Visitors may sign the online guest register at
