Herbert Franklin Rayburn

Memorial services for Herbert Franklin Rayburn, 75 of Thomasville, will be at 4:00 PM, Tuesday January 8, 2013 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mr. Rayburn died on January 4, 2013. Born July 8, 1937 in Pavo, he was the son of the late W. A. and Ella Baughman Rayburn. Mr. Rayburn attended Dawson St. Baptist Church and worked for Colonial Stores and operated a restaurant along with his late wife, Doris Daniels Baggett Rayburn. He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Rayburn of Thomasville and a son Glenn Rayburn of Coolidge. Also surviving are a brother and sister in law Edward and Dorothy Rayburn of Tallahassee, FL, sister Irene White of Thomasville, sister in law Merle Rayburn of Thomasville; grandchildren, Kimberly Sanders and husband Reggie, Jessica Bradley and husband Timothy, Kenny Rayburn and wife Jennifer all of Thomasville, Ashley McLellan and husband Stacy of Moultrie and Amanda Abbott and husband Jesse of Alabama; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Raybrun was preceded in death by a son Herbie Rayburn, brothers, Judson Rayburn, Charles Rayburn, James Rayburn, sisters, Thelma Harris, Margaret Waters, and Katherine Banks.
