Herbert Lewis Hall

Services for Herbert Lewis Hall of Meigs are at 4:00PM on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at Midway Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Nathan Fowler, the Rev. Curtis Eason and the Rev. Billy Majors will officiate and interment will be in Midway Cemetery. Deacons will be honorary pallbearers. Mr. Hall died Jan. 27 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 15, 1928 in Thomas Co., GA he was the son of the late E. W. Hall, Sr. and Ruby Lewis Hall. On April 5, 1952 he married Joyce Blackburn Hall who preceded him in death on April 1, 1992. Mr. Hall was a veteran of the United States Army-Air Corp and was a Master Electrician and farmer. He was a deacon and a member of the Pelham Masonic Lodge #312 and a Shriner. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Diane H. and Tom Causey of Coolidge, Dale and Tony Brock of Thomasville, Debbie and Ted Rogers of Ormond Beach, FL; grandchildren, Kasey Benton, Ryan Brock, Jonathan Brock, Lucas Rogers; great grandchildren, Michael and Sarah Benton; sister, Marie Stewart of Pelham, brother and sister-in-law, Harold H. and Sandra Hall of Ashburn, GA, sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Cecil Bowen of Cordele, GA, brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Marie Hall of Meigs.
