Herbert A. Sammons of Monticello, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia M. Sammons in 2018. Survivors include his children Susan Shepard and husband Jack of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Kenneth Sammons and wife Karen of Pinetta, FL, Keith Sammons and wife Kaye of Monticello, Fl, Cindy Beaty and husband Barry of Texas. Also surviving are grandchildren, Stacie Kirby, Shellie Yowell, Justin Shepard, Kenny Wade Sammons, Sarah Sammons, Ethan Sammons, Chad Lester, and Josh Lester: numerous great grandchildren. A private service will be held by his family.
