Services for Hiram Arthur Bubba Jr Davis, Jr, 43, of Cairo will be held 4:00 pm, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gary Holland will officiate. Mr. Davis passed away July 21 at Archbold Hospital. Born July 16, 1969 in Thomasville, he is the son of Hiram Arthur Bubba Sr Davis, Sr, of Thomasville and the late Bertha Lucille Hopkins Davis. He is married to Theresa Mercer Sheffield Davis who survives. Mr. Davis was a member of Victory Baptist Church; was employed at Ashley Furniture as a warehouse technician for 13 years. He loved tinkling with cars and spending time with kids. Other survivors include his children, Crystal Bryant, Christopher Sheffield and wife Jacquelyn Sheffield, Ashley Nichole Thompson and husband Adrian; grandchildren, Kaleb Sheffield, Kendall Sheffield, Prince Banks; sister & brothers, Ursula Lynn Davis, Wayne Lamar Davis, James Calvin Guthrie and wife Janet; mother-in-law, Betty Mercer; sisters-in-law, Cathy Miller and Katrina Mercer; brothers-in-law, Donnie Mercer and Howard Miller; nieces and nephews, Jessica L. Whittington, Marlana D. Crosby, Ashley Davis, Wayne Lamar Davis, Jr, Caleb Guthrie, Chris Guthrie, Aiden Davis, Ian Davis, Kelly, Colby, Rebecca, Ciny, Kaitlyin, Corey, Quinton and Jaci; uncles, John L. Davis and wife Vickie and B. Merle Davis and wife Gail; close family friend Faye Bryant and many cousins. He was preceded in death by sister, Michelle Davis and father-in-law, Noah Mercer.
