Hiram Wayne Philmon

Funeral services for Hiram Wayne Philmon, 55, of Thomasville, are 4:00 pm, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lee Waller officiating and interment in Sunset memorial Gardens. Mr. Philmon died April 7 at his residence. Born March 16, 1952, in Blakely, Ga, he was the son of William Hiram Philmon, who survives and the late Mary Windham Willis Philmon. He was a Thomas County Prison Corrections Officer. Other survivors include daughter, Meredith Sickle, of WV, daughter & son-in-law, Shana & Jordan Green, of Ocilla, GA, brother, Roger David Philmon, sisters, Glenda Jane Barton, Mary Dale Thomas, Debra Ruth Thomas, Sandra Leigh Knight, all of Thomasville, grandchildren, Shelby Jones, Sarah K. Mott, Jake Sickle and numerous nieces and nephews. A brother, William Danny Philmon, preceded him in death. The family will receive friends 3-4 pm before the service.
