Graveside services for Honorine Cone Highsmith of Boston, GA are at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 29, 2004 at Salem Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Moore will officiate. Mrs. Highsmith died August 26 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born May 15, 1914 in Thomas Co., GA she was the daughter of the late R. M. and Julia Lou Miller Cone. On November 11, 1933 in Thomasville she married James Orland Highsmith who preceded her in death. Mrs. Highsmith was a school teacher with Thomas County School System for 26 years. She was a member of Kenyon Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church, Kappa Delta Pi, Georgia Retired Teachers Association, Georgia Library Association and Thomasville Woman?s Club. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Frances Highsmith of Lawley, AL., Kelly and Marjorie Highsmith of Boston, GA., brother, Ed Cone of Pavo, GA., sisters, Doris Crandell of Russellville, AL, Clara Ross of Albany, GA., Kathryn Duggar of Pavo, grandchildren, Patrick and Paige Highsmith of Lawrenceville, GA, Kevin Highsmith of Boston, Jason Highsmith of Dallas, TX and Stephanie and Brett Dyson of Victoria, Australia and great grandchildren, Steven Highsmith of Boston and Kirra and Seth Dyson of Victoria, Australia.
