Houston Alexander Sparks

Houston Alexander Sparks of Pelham, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at Brian Center Health Care. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening, April 30, 2003, from 6 to 8pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2003 in Mt. Sterling, Ky. Mr. Sparks was born in Nicholas Co., Ky. on Oct. 15, 1915 to the late John and Maggie Sparks. He was married to Emma Hildreth Sparks on Feb. 17, 1937 in Carlisle, Ky., and has preceded him in death. He was a member of East Union Christian Church. Survivors include daugters Wanda Sue Turner of Paris, Ky. and Mary Doris Peck of Ky., son Harry Alexander of Ky., 10 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons Tommy Wayne Sparks and William H. Sparks. Guest may sign the online register book at www.allenfh.com .
