Funeral services for Hugh F Laing Sr. will be
at 2 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Milton C. Gardner and Rev. Dan Spencer officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Laing died March 30, 2003 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 10, 1929 in Grady Co. to the late Clyde Clarence Laing and Bertha A. Reagan Laing. He was married to Irma Broadway Laing on May 30, 1947 in Mitchell Co., Ga. Mr. Laing was a sales manager for Premium Pork in Moultrie and a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Survivors include his wife Irma Broadway Laing of Thomasville, son Hugh F Laing Jr. of Thomasville, son Alan Clyde Laing of Pensacola Beach Fl., daughter Kay Laing Cone of Winter Springs, Fl., grandchildren Reagan Lowe, Dustin Cone, Andrea Cone, great grandchild Kayla Laing, sisters Sarah Davidson of Athens, Ga., and Louise Singletary of Atlanta. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Missions. The family will recieve friends from 7-9 PM on Monday evening at the funeral home. Guest may sign the online guest book at allenfh.com.
