Hulon Doolittle

Graveside services for Hulon Doolittle Sr. will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:00am at Little Flock Cemetery in Boston, GA. Hulon Doolittle Sr., age 91, passed away at home after a lengthy illness on June 16, 2022. He was born in Washington County Georgia, son of Inman and Mamie Purvis Doolittle. He graduated in 1949 from Laurens County High School in Dublin, Georgia. He then served in the Air Force for four years in San Antonio, Texas. He worked for over forty years in retail, retiring in 1995 from Wal-Mart. he is preceded in death by an infant son; parents Inman and Mamie Doolitle; sisters Rita Scozio and Virginia Selvaggio; brothers Cecil, Reuben, Thomas, Keith and Otis Doolittle. He is survived by his children Karen Alston of Thomasville, Ga, David (Rene), and Edmond (Hope) Doolittle of Boston, Ga; grandchildren Jerry (Jennifer) Doolittle of Elk Grove, CA, Serina Doolittle Ingebretsen (Nick) of Midway, Ga, Jami and Justin Doolittle of Clearwater, FL, Jan Brandi of Clearwater, FL, Matthew and Rachel Doolittle of Townsend, TN; great-grandchild Alice Doolittle of Elk Grove, CA; and sister-in-law Jeanette Doolittle of Dulath, GA. Donations may be made to Ebenezer Methodist Church, Little Flock Cemetery, or Bethany Hospice.
