Ida Bernice Upton Vick

Funeral services for Ida Bernice Upton Vick will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 3, 2003 at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Gary Milton officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Mrs. Vick died on Friday, August 1, 2003 at Hospitality Care Nursing Center. She was born on January 17, 1917 in Thomas Co. to George B. Upton and Susie Whiddon Upton who have preceded her in death. On June 9, 1934 she married Luther Guy Vick who preceded her in death on July 6, 1997. Mrs. Vick was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Thomasville. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Gale Vick & Gary Milton and Marie Vick & Pat Christopher both of Thomasville; grandchildren Ashley Dahlen and husband Rob, Alison Milton, Alex Milton, Derek Milton, Matthew Milton, Madison Christopher; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers S.A. Upton and Benjamin F. Upton and sister Mary Willis. The family will recieve friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
