Ina B. Cordes

Services for Ina B. Cordes of Thomasville, will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Unfortunately, due to the COVID restrictions, the service must be limited to family members only. Ina went home to be with her Savior and her Sweetie (her pet name for her husband) on Sunday, June 21st. She is preceded by death by her husband of 68 years, Walter K. Cordes. She is the mother of Robert, “Bob” (Deborah) Cordes and Donna (Don) McMillan; grandmother of Jennifer, Steven (Kendra), James (Rebecca), John (Lindsey) Cordes, Kevin (Lesli) McMillan and Christy (Allan) Pierce; great-grandmother to 16 precious children; aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She spent her life devoted to caring for her family. In later years, she spent the majority of her time serving her Lord at Trinity Assembly of God Church in St. Louis, MO. In her final years, she was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Thomasville, GA. She is remembered for her youthful spirit and humor. She managed to bring joy to everyone in most situations. In early November 2016, Mr. and Mrs. Cordes moved to Thomasville, GA, to reside with their daughter and son-in-law due to their deteriorating health. The memorial service will be led by the Rev.
