Inez Bernice Vick of Pavo, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024, at the age of 91. She was born on July 8, 1932 in Sparta, Georgia, to the late parents, Douglas and Myrtle (Davis) Binion.
She had a deep love for flowers and spent countless hours tending to her yard. Birdwatching was also a cherished pastime, as she admired their beauty and melodious songs.
Inez was a member of Salem Baptist Church, where she found comfort in her faith and built lasting relationships. She embodied the principles of love, kindness, and selflessness, always looking for ways to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many.
She is survived by her children Tammy Redfern Barrow of Pavo, stepdaughter Pat Herring and husband Larry of Thomasville, and Don Vick of Boston followed by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Vick, her daughter Tina Redfern King, and her brother Doug Binion.
There will be a graveside service to celebrate the life of Inez Bernice Vick held at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Doug Thompson
