Ira "Billy" William Roberts

On December 1, 2021, Ira "Billy" William Roberts, aged 60, passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia, surrounded by his children and older sister. Born on January 6, 1961, in Cordele, Georgia, Billy grew up as one of six children to Susie and John Roberts. A talented and self-made craftsman, Billy touched many people's lives through his careful work and artistry, customizing cabinets and other projects while owning and operating his "hobby shop." As anyone who knew Billy can attest, he was a big personality while also a private man, who remained true to himself and his values. Among his many hobbies and interests, Billy particularly loved cooking for his family, driving his motorcycle along the Forgotten Coast, and "fixing" matters both personal and professional with heart and craftsmanship. A beloved father, Billy is survived by his two children, Melinda Antoinette "Mindy" Roberts of Atlanta, and William Cody Roberts of Thomasville, both of whom wish to thank the community for their support and condolences.
