Ira Lee Nesmith

A memorial service for Ira Lee NeSmith, 34, of Hahira will be held 2 pm, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Big Creek Baptist Church in Coolidge. Rev. Isaac Gonzales will officiate. Mr. NeSmith passed away January 28, 2012 in Gainesville, Fl. Born September 18, 1977 in Thomasville; he was the son of Terry NeSmith Kelly of Havana, Fl. and William Bill NeSmith and Cat of Thomasville. He was married to April NeSmith who survives. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of the Hebron Fellowship Church. Other survivors include his children, Daniel Chicketti of New London, CT, Allison NeSmith and Asa NeSmith both of Moultrie, Ira Lee NeSmith, Jr of Pavo; stepsons, Lee Pittman of Moultrie and Anthony Cranco of New London CT; sister, Crissy Beckwith of Ochlocknee; uncles, Shane NeSmith and spouse Bryan Dean, Charles NeSmith and wife Cecilia, Hulan NeSmith and wife Michelle all of Thomasville, aunt, Debbie NeSmith of Albany; special friends, Stacey Watson and family, Christopher Watson, Hunter Watson, Brennen Watson all of Hahira; nieces Stephanie Beckwith, Ashley Beckwith, and Lisa Beckwith all of Thomasville and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Ira Hulen NeSmith and Mary Ellen Quick NeSmith, and Del Glover.
