Irene Ivey of Thomasville passed away on Saturday April 1, 2017 at her residence. Born on April 9, 1920, in Jefferson Barricks, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late James Cerney and Frieda Lemp Cerney. Mrs. Ivey was an Artist and owned a picture framing business before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband Author Peter Ivey, Jr. Per her wishes, no local services are planned and she will be scattered at sea along with her husband in California.
